Free wedding contest winner!

Ohhh isn’t this what we’ve all been waiting to hear??

First off…I just want to thank all of the couples who entered and everyone who participated in the voting.  The support was seriously AMAZING. Both of the couples who made it into the top 2 should feel extremely blessed and loved…considering that both of them had over 400 people vote for them. Win or lose the contest, I hope both couples have had their eyes opened to how many people really care for them and are supporting them!

So if you’re not familiar with this contest, let me give you a briefing…

To celebrate the release of my new site…I wanted to give away something big. The logical answer to that was a free wedding. Since I’m a wedding photographer….see that connection? ;)

The winner will receive a free wedding package from me, as well as hair and make-up styling for the session and wedding by Celeste Styling.

After Facebook voting, we were left with a top 2. I sent the stories and photos(that were sent to me by the couples) to 5 of my 2010 brides. Who else would know better who deserves this prize, than someone who has already worked with me?

I’m not sure if I’ll ever do a contest again. It was hard not getting my heart into it! Wedding days are so special and I really wish I could have been there for both of them(as well as the weddings of the pre-finalists!). I saw how much support both of these couples received and how much both of them REALLY wanted to win. Because of that…I want to offer something to the second place winner too.  So for our second place winner, I would like to offer a free session of their choice.  Engagement, Day After, Trash the Dress…you pick!
