In 2011, I did a ton of soul searching and brand exploration. I discovered the direction I wanted to go and set out on a mission to brand myself as “The Fairytale Photographer”.
One of the biggest parts of this process was a personal project that I created, called The Fantasy Series. Throughout 2011 and 2012, I worked with a small creative team to produce a collection of themed fairytale shoots in this series. I didn’t know what I was doing yet, but I knew that the need to create these came from deep within.
As time went on, this project became the foundation of my fairytale brand and I soon began to attract the kind of weddings that resonated with this whimsical style. But there was an unexpected demand that came as a result of The Fantasy Series…
I started to receive messages from couples who were already married, were eloping, or were celebrating other special milestones in their lives. But they also wanted to have a fairytale photo experience, even though there was no wedding. From this… Fantasy Sessions were born!
In 2016, I began offering these and the first booking I got was this Disney-inspired elopement. I fell in love with the process of bringing my clients’ dreams to life and photographing them in their custom-designed fairytale. Since then, I have had the opportunity to make magic for more clients in a variety of different themes and styles!

Who is this experience for?
Here is who I’ve determined Fantasy Sessions to be a perfect fit for:
- You’re already married but you have no wedding photos or are not in love with the ones you have. You want a do-over that can still be as magical and over-the-top as a real wedding day.
- You’re engaged and have decided to elope! But not just any elopement… you want to get married in your own custom storybook scene.
- You place a high value on photography and are prepared to invest in a one-of-a-kind experience.
- You are expecting a little one and want to look like royalty in your maternity shoot.
- You’re not engaged, married, or celebrating anything in particular… but you love fairytales and want to do this just because you can!
Investment & Details
Due to the custom nature of these sessions, the investment starts at $2000 and goes up based on the services, props, and time required. From booking to execution, I typically require a timeframe of between 6 weeks to 3 months to allow enough time for creativity and planning. These projects all take place in Southern California.
The process starts with a questionnaire that outlines your goals and hopes for the outcome of the shoot. From there, we have a phone or video consultation where I can get a full scope of your ideas and begin to dream up a vision. No ideas? No worries! I can create something beautiful from a blank canvas! Lastly, I send you a final proposal and once accepted, the fun begins!
Each shoot is fully custom and catered to your individual budget and wishes. Some of the services that may be included are:
