Being hired by another photographer for their personal photos is super flattering (and somewhat nerve-wracking!). Which leads me to why I was so stoked when my fellow photog friend, Mckenna, inquired with me about doing a shoot of her and her hubby, Ben, for their 3rd anniversary. My response in my head was “Heck Yes!” :)
Another cool thing about photographing photographers, is the cool ideas they have. Mckenna had planned out what she wanted for their session including the scrabble game, the gorgeous bridge at night, and having her makeup done by the lovely Brittany Sullivan.
It was such a pleasure working with these two! {And I get to check off another photographer for #25 on my 101 in 1001!}
Mckenna and Ben love playing board games together and brought along Scrabble for some cute shots :)
Of course we had to sneak in the opportunity for some new bio photos of Mckenna! ;)
And for the romantic night shots…..I lovedddd shooting these!!!!!
Gorgeous!!!!!
And last but not least….outtakes. This was the other shoot that Kay accompanied me on, so of course this included interesting shots of me “in action”.
I am SO glad I’ve found one of the few careers where I can act like THIS on the job and it’s okay………hahahaha!
My 70-200mm lens came in handy for photographing gnarly spiders!!!!
Sometimes to get the right shot…you’ve gotta do what you’ve gotta do. Even if it entails jay walking across a bride(with no way out if a car comes!) to get on the other side ;)
