{The Fantasy Series} Queen of the Marine

October 4, 2011

Sharing this session, to me, is almost like sending out a birth announcement for my newly born child. (I don’t have one of those!!! Just an analogy!!! lol). You put so much time, effort, hard work, and LOVE into a project that you have a real emotional attachment to it. That’s where the baby reference came from….but without the pooping and crying!

The Fantasy Series was born from a desire I couldn’t rid myself of. I wanted to shoot something different that I could pour all of my creative energy into. This desire, combined with my obsession with fairytales led me to this series! I am soooo blessed to have also found two other creative individuals who are also passionate about the project. Which are Celeste of Celeste Styling and Artistry, the mastermind behind hair and makeup. And Ashley of Patterns on Walls, the crafty genius in charge of props and styling. These girls are AMAZING. I couldn’t say it enough. They take my vision and create it into something so far beyond what I could imagine!!! It’s always a pleasure to work with them! :)

The series started with Ethereal Beauty. I will elaborate at a later point more on WHAT the series is, and the concept behind it. But I will tell you right now, that after this one you still have 4 more very exciting parts of this series to look forward to!!!

The vision behind Queen of the Marine was a shipwrecked, dreamy, ocean look. Complete with rusty metals, shells & starfish, net, and more! Check out how the vision came to life!!!

It is my pleasure to present Queen of the Marine…….

I can hardly believe this crown that Ashley created…..This net veil blows my mind!!!!! I would love to see a real beach bride do something like this!!!Celeste had her looking FLAWLESS.Part way through, Celeste added pearls to her eyes for an amazing touch!P.S. A HUGE thanks to our gorgeous model, Nicole!!!!! She really rocked it out as the Queen of the Marine!!!!
