If you haven’t been following my blog, let me fill you in. Earlier this month, I went to Ireland with my boyfriend, Andrew, for a jam-packed 10 days of meetings, networking, and shooting…all for my business.
I feel incredibly blessed that it all worked out. I prayed hard and planned for this trip for months. And none of it was in vain. It was an absolute dream! I can’t wait to go back!!!!
Above all…I feel humbled. I forced myself to step out of so many comfort zones to make this trip happen. Sometimes I felt near paralyzed by one irrational fear or the other….the fear of rejection….failure….. Now that it’s all said and done…I am left feeling humbled. But also, with my eyes opened to how much BIGGER my possibilities are than I ever could have imagined a year ago.
This is the first of many Ireland related posts that will be hitting the blog in these next few weeks. I hope you are as excited to see them as I am to share!!! :)
My first session took place while we were in Dublin. I photographed the lovely Miss Jessica at St. Stephens Green & Dublin Castle.
And let me just tell you…I LOVE site-seeing and I LOVE photographing what I see. But…nothing quite satisfies me like photographing a person. Although I had been photographing the amazing architecture and history of the city in the days leading up to this session, the session itself was my first chance to settle in and say “YES….this is what I love to do!”
Isn’t she lovely?!!Come on…do you really think I could resist the hot pink door?!?! ;)
LOVE IT! I absolutely love your work. And totally jealous you got to go Ireland. I’ve always wanted to go. :D
