{Southern California Portrait Photographer} Ty LaMothe

First off, let me just say how much I LOVE photographing other photographers! Or maybe just artists in general. Musicians, dancers….I love it all! I love listening to their vision, what inspires them, what they are aiming for with their brand….then putting all of the pieces together to nail their concept. :)

I was so excited and thrilled to do these bio photos for my lovely friend and fellow photographer, Ty LaMothe. She also shot my office bio photos that you see up there ^^^ what a coincidence huh?

Ty and I have built a friendship over the last two years, that started with photography and grew to be so much more. There has never been a time that we’ve hung out and haven’t laughed till we cried. This session was NO exception. Actually, I probably laughed the hardest I have all year. Seriously. I practically have a six pack from all the laughing.

This weekend Ty moved to Texas. And as sad as I am to see her go, I am super excited to see everything she does out there! I know there will be many accomplishments for her! She is in the process of re-branding and putting out a new website and blog, so she asked me to shoot this session to represent her brand. She totally ROCKED it…even though she swears she is “not photogenic”. Photographers can be funny like that about being on the other side of the camera.

Well I cannot wait to see what she does with these photos for her new branding!! Keep an eye on her blog for updates!!

P.S. Because time was winding down before her big move, we has to opt for a sunrise session. It was my first morning session and getting up was miserable, but I actually LOVED it! I wouldn’t mind doing some more sunrise sessions in the future!!!
