{California Mountain Wedding} Krystal & Carlos

A little over a year ago, I sat in a crowded coffee shop and discussed the ins and outs of my business with a very sweet girl that I had just met. I was interviewing her for an intern position I had open. As the conversation progressed over the course of half an hour, I knew she was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. This girl was named, Krystal.

Somehow, more than a year has passed since then and just two weeks ago, I had the honor of photographing Krystal’s wedding. (Photographing a wedding photographer’s wedding, CHECKED off of my bucketlist!). So much has changed in the last year. I have seen her grow and excel in her business, as well as fall head over heels in love with Carlos, the man she promised a lifetime to on August 5th. These two are so beyond perfect for eachother!

They tied the knot at Willow Woods Park, a sweet little wedding venue in Skyforest, CA. I was blown away by Krystal’s DIY and vintage touches she put on the wedding. It was all so HER. She did an amazing job! But you don’t have to take my word for it, go see for yourself :)

Krystal’s niece is SOOOO darling!!Such a sweet moment with her grandma!Gettin’ Hitched Coffee made the perfect addition to the reception! Like bringing Starbucks to your wedding!!The venue had Carlos and Krystal plant a rose bush! The symbolism is that it was birthed on their wedding day will continue to grow and thrive. Years down the road, they can come back and pick flowers from their wedding day rose bush. Love it!Of course I had to grab a photo with them! And check out that hottie in the photo on the right!
