On a gorgeous July morning, I arrived at Hilton Waterfront resort to capture Melody and JJ’s enchanting Huntington Beach Wedding.
JJ is a professional golfer, so these two are always on the road and actually live in Scottsdale, AZ. With the expertise of Stephanie Chin Events, they were able to pull off a magical destination wedding in Southern California.
Their vision was to have a wedding day that was upscale but down to earth. The goal was to bring an enchanted and foresty vibe to a sleek, modern beach venue. With the help of Little Hill Floral Designs, this vision was executed flawlessly! The lush greenery and florals were compliments by agate and geode details.

Right after their first look, they had their parents each do their own special first look. It was so sweet to watch these dads react to seeing the wives all dolled up!
Their reception looked as if we were transported from Huntington Beach to an enchanted fairytale garden!
“Hey Doll” was the first thing that JJ said to Melody when he contacted her. I love how that sweet sentiment was implemented into the decor!
Dry ice first dances are probably my favorite thing of all time! It doesn’t get any more romantic than this!
