Cassie and Ryan are a special couple, they’ve got something that you don’t see very often anymore. They are the high school sweethearts that really made it last!!! What started as a typical high school romance…turned out to be the real thing! And to this day, Cassie still has the love notes that Ryan wrote her back in those days :)Being the hopeless romantic that I am, I looooove these types of stories.

I will never forget the story Cassie told me about the proposal. I mentioned it when I blogged their engagement session a year ago, but I sure wouldn’t mind sharing it again ;)

Ryan and Cassie got engaged on Christmas Eve. Dinner had just finished up at Ryan’s mother’s house and the whole family was around. Ryan came up to Cassie and asked her if she remembered how he told her a few days ago that the ring she liked was sold. Cassie replied, “yes”, she remembered him telling her this but didn’t know what relevance it had at the moment. Ryan then got down on one knee and said “They sold it to me”.

This is real love! And I am so blessed to have gotten to document it. Now check out the high school sweethearts on THEIR day that they awaited for so long….

Ryan sent Cassie a text that morning….if you can’t read the screen in the photo, it says ” I am really really really  ridiculously good looking today”Stunningggg bride!!!!Anticipation…..This wedding took place at The Hacienda in Santa Ana and I must say I am totally smitten with this venue! So much detail and gorgeousness……This shot cracks me up! Ryan looks like “No, Seriously…..this is MY money!!!”These last two shots scream GORGEOUS FALL WEDDING!!! Which is exactly what this wedding was :)
