I’ve been a Showiteer since 2010 and I have loved it every step of the way. If you’re looking for a way to have an AMAZING, easy to build/customize, flash website….Showit is the way to go!
That, in itself, is awesome enough right? But Showit never stops at just that. They are constantly innovating and inventing new products for us (like PASS!!!), building a tight-knit community of photographers who serve, and other cool things….like photo contests and THIS amazing conference!
I know, I know….blahhhhh blah blahhh…..I am rattling on and probably sounding like a paid endorser. But this thing is, I’m definitely not…I pay THEM….and I still feel this way, because they are just that awesome. Check it out for yourself!
Last week, 200 of us Showiteers got together, at the Four Seasons in Santa Barbara, for a 3-day conference. The days were jam-packed with speakers, photo shoots, parties, and fun! I’m so glad that I went! There’s so much that I could say about it…but I’ll let the photos do the talking. But even more…if you’re already a Showiteer, I hope you will attend United next year! If you’re not a Showiteer, I really hope you will check it out and see what Showit is all about! :)

And then here are your standard “We’re in a photobooth…so let’s do weird things” photos!!
This is me and Shannon’s prom photo. 
I did pull my camera out on one of the days. And on this day, I grabbed a couple shots at Katelyn James’ posing class, the beach landscape, and dogs. LOTS of DOGS. If you know me….you know how much I love dogs….so that day on the beach, I kind of became an official Dogtographer!
And on this day, was the birth of ROOSTER DOG!!! I saw this photo, when I got back to my room and laughed for about 5 minutes straight. Then spent the next 10 minutes, trying to figure it out? How did I manage to get this photo?! Rooster Dog was a major source of laughter and entertainment for me and my roommates, over the remainder of the trip. But towards the end, I broke down the photo and finally solved the mystery. Can you figure it out?
Another super fun part of the trip, was getting to play dress-up and be a princess bride, for a shoot with Jessica Frey Photography!
The Showit crew also printed an amazing lookbook for us, which contained the top 10 photos in all categories of the photo contest. I was ecstatic to see 4 of my photos in there! :)
And of course…the majority of the trip was documented on my phone…so here is a brief peek at what United looked like through my phone cam! ;)

This is awesome! And I love the beach photos of rooster dog – haha! So glad you like dogs, too, because I forgot to mention in my original email to you that my little chihuahua/dachshund Mishka will be joining me and my fiance for our beach wedding. :) Will send you a picture of her and more details on our ceremony later!

Lol I was browsing through the photos and was like… wow a lot of these look just like some of the shots I took… than realized they were and read the top haha! =) Fun times! I can’t wait for this year!
