{Steve and Savannah} Magical Fairytale Themed, Utah Wedding

Spending the weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah, to photograph this whimsical storybook wedding at Wadley Farms, was an absolute dream!

It was so obvious that this was the day that Savannah had dreamed about since she was a young girl. The day she could be a princess and be united with her prince charming, for eternity….cause Savannah is definitely into that kinda thing.  It’s one of the many things that I love about her. Savannah is a truly special individual and you will never meet another quite like her. When she walks into a room, it LIGHTS UP. I know that’s the most cliche statement ever…but it’s the best way to describe her. She is one of the few people I’ve ever met, who looks at the world as a place full of good, full of possibility. She is joyful and full of love. Like the way that she would have random bursts of excitement, while she was getting her makeup done, and she would literally scream with happiness. Or the way that not even torrential downpour on her wedding day was able to take the smile off of her face….but instead, she compared it to her favorite movie and found a way to love it.

The best part of this story, is that Savannah has found the perfect person to love her, perfectly. Stories like this make me marvel at the fact that in a world this huge, two people who are so uniquely made for one another, can find each other. During the first look, when Steve turned and saw Savannah…he literally looked as if he’s seen an angel. He then proceeded to do all of the things that demonstrate love, love, and more love. Wiping her tears…smelling her bouquet…and kissing her makeup off ;)

These two are not only special because they SEE magic in the world, but because they CREATE it. I am honored and thrilled to have documented this wonderful day.

And OF COURSE, I have to share my favorite behind-the-scenes photo and a genuinely one of the sweetest things that’s ever happened to me at a wedding. When the rain came on, unexpectedly, I was super thankful that I had my Storm Jacket, for my camera. I didn’t mind the fact that I was getting completely drenched, knowing that my equipment was safe. However…this precious little flower girl decided all on her own, to come over and cover me with her umbrella.  Thank you so much, Alisha, for capturing this!
