I had so much fun planning, designing, and creating this Fantasy couture maternity session for my clients, Apryll & Matt! Apryll reached out about a Fantasy Session for their maternity photos and I got to planning! I found her dress, headpieces, makeup artist, location, props, etc and all they had to do was show up and step into the fairytale.
I absolutely loved stylizing all elements of their couture maternity session! Apryll was AMAZING and totally open-minded. She completely trusted my vision for their maternity photos. We started with a fitting at my home where she tried on the dress that I had ordered for her and we talked about all of the ideas for the session. We instantly hit it off and were like close friends by the time of the shoot!
How stunning is this gown from Katharina Hakaj Couture?! Paired with a delicate gold crown by Be Something New, Apryll looked like she stepped right out of a fairytale. The team at Fairytale Hair and Makeup did an incredible job creating Apryll’s look!
Planning a Fantasy Session means that the sky is the limit for fairytale details! We had fun incorporating small props that made a big impact like this little crown!

When it comes to Fantasy Sessions, we really aim to take it to the next level. That means whimsical props are a must! I fell in love with these oversized rose props and knew they would be a great choice for the vision. This was an especially sweet and meaningful detail because Apryll and Matt are expecting a baby girl named Claire Rose.
