From the best beaches, castles, and parks, these are locations I’ve come back to time and time again for fairytale engagement sessions.
There is a lot of details that go into planning your engagement session, but the location is on of the most important part! #1 Treasure Island – Treasure Island in Laguna Beach is a perfect location if you’re looking for a mix of beach photos, gorgeous landscape, and epic views! The overlook with stunning views of the ocean always makes for the most dreamy photos. This is a great choice for Orange County engagement photos.
#2 Pasadena City Hall – This place is unbeatable for dreamy architecture! From spiral staircases to a giant fountain, this location has such romantic European vibes.
#3 LA Arboretum – Another gorgeous Pasadena photo location! There is a HUGE diversity in locations at this gigantic property! This Southern California location has so, so many beautiful backdrops. From garden paths to dreamy lake views and even a bamboo forest… there are so many different options all in one location.
#4 FD Photo Studio – This studio in LA is the perfect option if you are wanting indoor engagement photos. There are several spaces to choose from. I personally love Art 3 for the romantic feel which includes gilded furniture, a clawfoot tub, and a flower wall!
#5 Kimberly Crest – This is one of my all-time favorite photoshoot locations! It’s crazy that this stunning fairytale-worthy castle is right here in Redlands! This chateau-style Victorian mansion is situated on over six acres of gardens. Kimberly Crest is definitely one of the most romantic spots for Inland Empire engagement photos!
#6 Mormon Rocks – For epic desert & mountain views, look no further than Mormon Rocks! I absolutely loved Siena & David’s engagement session here. Siena’s red dress looked so stunning in this setting!

It is such a great Orange County photography location! The architecture at Mission SJC makes it feel as if you’ve been transported to an ancient European city.
